Hi I am interested in your Haas avocado air layered, if you still have it. I have Dwarf ambarella seedlings. It is a tropical fruit tree producing edible soursweet juicy fruits the size of a chicken egg. It may grow to 6 or 7 feet tall after many years but usually stays below that. Can easily be grown to fruiting stage in a large pot. Please let me know if interested. Thanks

Hello, I'm no expert, but i would recommend NOT growing those things from seed, the reason being that to the best of my knowledge these things do not breed "true" to seed. So when you plant an apricot seed a apricot grows, but its not the same genetic individual and might not have tasty fruit (or fruit at all) or might get blight very easily, or there is a small chance it will be as good or better then its parent... but its going to take many years to find out. So, perhaps you should look for rooted cuttings of trees or root divisions of cane fruits. Paw paws are a suckering shrubby tree so they are pretty easy to divide, just watch the tap root.

I have assorted sizes of Italian Prune trees. I also have at least 2 other kinds, I am just not sure what the real name is for them. The Parent trees are about 40 years old and were planted when we moved in. 1 has large egg shaped fruit that tastes a little like a nectarine, but with the plum texture. The color is the same as a nectarine. 1 of the others is a smaller round plum. I have heard called a peach plum. Very good. We also have green gauge plum seedlings and last a Chinese prune or so the previous owners called it. The problem is I am not sure I could correctly name the seedlings. They look almost identical. If you don't care let me know. The Italian prunes I am pretty sure of the ones under that tree. The others are so close together I couldn't be 100%.
