Hoya

A friend asked me the other day about her "Hoya" plant. It is growing in a pot and doing quite well. Apparently it is about 30 years old and has had various "reinventions" having been in pots and in the ground through different homes. It flowers well and has a strong perfume. All is good. Last year and this it has apparently grown what looks similar to a mango and I assume is a seed pod. There are about 4 or 5 "pods" on the plant. Can someone please advise? Also, if seed, can we grow from these? How do we multiply this plant for her? Thanks. Daniel
