I would appreciate any tips on these plants. Do you pinch them out to encourage further branching? I've been using seasol to assist the root development. Could they be okay in partial sun or is full sun best?
I do hate to see a query sitting there forlornly, unanswered, and while I am no expert in this area, I will attempt to help out.
I found a website on the growing of lisianthus which may be of assistance. As regards the verbenas, the worst you can do to them is over-pampering. Once established they are extremely hardy. Grow in full sun, water well until established and then only when dry. Deadhead regularly.
Thanks Anna for the assistance. I have pinched them out. Although the top leaves can be slow, the root development in the pot has been amazing in just two weeks. The verbena punnets I picked up were throw outs so I'll hold the flowering back and try to resurrect the root system. It is always nice to try something new in the garden. Thanks again. Sebd
