Where on earth you get that idea that it has to be so and appear to believe NOTHING else can be, is beyond me! Did you not do basic chemistry in school? Do you not read labels on common household cleaning etc products as often just two of the 'wrong' ones can produce a dangerous result. Do you not read labels on otc medicinal etc products to ensure you can take them with any prescribed meds? Are you aware that if you put dry ice, one of the commonest forms of dangerous goods that is shipped, in with animals it will kill them; does a darn good number on any plants or vegetable matter in the same area too! NameTaken As mentioned up-thread, no selling on GardenWeb. You could check member's pages & look for Trade list. You may be lucky enough to find someone offering cuttings for trade; if you don't have anything to trade now, send them personal e-mail & maybe you can arrange something. Or directly contact members that you see here having plants you may be interested in (most have personal e-mail addy on member's page). If you want cuttings sent from USA to Canada, remember there are certain laws/rules/conditions & it may be more difficult. (So it would be easier to get stuff from Canadian members). Looks like you may have Detroit (?) location - in that case no problem to get the cuttings shipped there. So few Canadian members are offering cuttings... Otherwise use the nurseries mentioned. Hoovb, perhaps it's the scale of that plant that is variegated was left with much desire on the market.. The seller claim it's a 20" plant, that's about 1 foot. I never saw or understood the value in vairegated Agaves anyway. But I really do love those with almost completely albino leaves markings.. Jeff, I love the first plant, and your friend's mother painting. Very pretty..
