Gail, What can you get. We have a water garden with three koi and with the drought last summer I had a really hard time keeping the algae down. I wa told I needed lots more plants as we only have 4 little ones lol. I would like to find things hardy in our zone but still appealing to the eye or fragrant. Has to be safe for the fish and the cheaper the better as we are on a tight budget. I know I'm asking for the moon but anyhelp would be great. Thank you in advance, Tamara

I'm looking for some pond plants that would go well in small containers. I'd love a dwarf lotus and/or waterlily, maybe some dwarf papyrus. Basically anything that'd be OK in a bucket on my porch that has pretty flowers. :) I don't have a lot to trade so I'd love if this could be for SASBE but if that's not kosher we'll see if we can work something out. Please note that I'm a sloooow trader, but can get your stuff to you faster if it can be mailed out of my mailbox at home. Thanks! -kettish

Hi Patty, I was just reading that you have some pretty pink water lilies? I have a pond too!! It's 180 X 60, we just made it larger last yr. :) I bought one of those darn bowls from Menards store, it was suppose to have pickeral plant, water glads, 2 pink water lilies, and some?? I only had a few of the purple pickeral that grew and then died :( I have some things to trade you for some of your pretty pink water lilies if your interested? I have some: Perennial Sunflower silver dollar plants strawberry plants varigated snow on the mountian( I am putting some around my pond :) Vinca(lavender flowers, and ever green leaves), yarrow mixed, crazy onion(when the snow is melted they are ready to eat) Wild Pond Iris and some day lilies, some named some not.
