I have Lupins and delphinium sprouts,lots of them.Not sure if they will bloom or even survive but maybe if I plant them in the shade.?What cha think?It gets so hot and humid here and they do better in cool weather,right?I have settled for larkspur,love that plant too and have seedlings popping up everywhere.Hopefully,the sprouts look very healthy. moonphase

Boabs dont grow near Chinchilla, thus the ones at Roma Parklands are Brachychiton rupestris aka Bottle Trees. NathanHurst, you are correct Boabs are native to far NW WA, and seem to have made their way there from seeds floating across the Indian Ocean from Madagascar and Africa, only 1 species occurs in Africa, the rest are from Madagascar, and we have 1. My two arent photogenic and I would be surprised if you can find a nice big one in the Brisbane area, but I could be wrong! Ive seen 1 in Mareeba NQ and an A. digitalis there too. Cheers from Kris

we have a boab that we brought back with us from the kimberley & it's been doing really well, until just recently we noticed bugs on it. We took a leaf to the nursery & was told it had meelee bug & aphids on it, we were given a spray & were told it's because of the unusual humidity.At the moment the lower leaves are turning yellow & dropping off.Is it the time for the leaves to nfall off?
