Images-anyone else having probs?

For 3 nights I have tried to post pics of Paul Transon on his double arch for Ashmeri-Gardenweb seems to be ignoring the code from photobucket altogether-I have tried everything but with the same result.
Is anyone able to post pics from anywhere?

No Sandie we cannot use photobucket at all, we cannot even do paragraphs when we post a message, I wrote to them and they said they were having technical problems or formating and were working on it........................... I think it has been four days now, but I believe it is OK on the US Forums. I had five tawny frogmouths in my trees the other day and I wanted to post some pics on the OZ Gallery and had to go back to the old way so three of the pics were never posted its not the same story one pic at a time, heres hoping it wont be for long... One issue with this oven is the lack of precision on the dial. It has been detailed here in the past. I just put a Taylor mercury oven thermometer on the rack I was using and adjusted to the temperature I needed. The owner's manual has some diagrams that explain how to adjust the part that regulates gas flow into the oven burner. Seems like a competent repair person should be able to handle that and make it work unless something is actually broken. OTOH, it should be properly adjusted at the factory. Not good news that they aren't helpful. Perhaps one of the appliance pros who sell the thing has a suggestion on dealing with that.

Oh my dear lord, does anyone else have a Sanijet???

We have had our Sanijet for about 8 years. Operationally, we love it. The jets are perfect in terms of pressure and water movement; the underwater light is super cool. That's what draws the grand-kids, who are that only ones that use it (a couple visits per year) . While we have no leaks, we have had to replace several motors (5 as I remember); they just stop working. And as the other folks said; for a $3,700 tub, you shouldn't have to keep pouring money into it. The argument that we keep having with the tech people is over "why". By now I'm certain that there is a design flaw somewhere in the system; but tech support says we're not using it enough. An extraordinary claim for electric motors, in my experience. Anyway, they tested the control panel and blessed it as being OK; so now we're going to turn it on every couple weeks, for no other purpose that to remove that argument. Hope this works!

If you have planned surgery you can usually bank your own blood. I did that before each of my hip replacements. (I was surprised to learn that my blood was just disposed of when I didn't need it -- not given to a bank. Something about it not being tested/typed when drawn.) I know Jehovah's Witnesses refuse blood transfusions and can be given a substitute to blood in some instances. Several labs are working to improve a volume substitute.

Sue, those underlined words are exactly what I'm talking about. It is a 'legitimate' link and the advertisers are paying iVillage for the use of the site. We were warned it was going to happen - look at the What's New section right over the top of the message list - and even told how to opt out of the ads. (Click on the connection under What's New that says "Please read this important announcement about new advertising.") But it's not working and we are not able to decline the ads right now. Tamara says they are working on it. Although I find the underlined connections annoying, I REALLY hate that someone looking at one of my posts might think I condone or even promote a company because there's a link to them in my post! But all of these links are automatically inserted at key words and it's all done by a company called IntelliTXT. I want to be able to opt out of seeing them AND having them attached to my posts, but I don't think that's going to be possible. Kate

I have not been able to post either, seems to be a bit of a glitch along the line. It does seem strange having to go back to the old ways of posting, nearly forgot how to reduce the pictures, Photobucket makes it so easy for us, doesn't it ? I am looking forward to seeing the Double Arch for the rose Sandie, thanks for thinking of it. Marion

Yes Sandie I am having problems too, I hope they get it fixed as the 60kb size is mostly too small to see detail. Jan.

Thanks for your input everybody-and thanks for that link Sparaxis. Let's hope it IS a temporary glitch and NOT new policy-else we will not be able to post pics into this forum at all. It hasn't got the built in image uploader that Gardening in Oz has,so only by using Photobucket or other web albums can you show pics in here. I wait with fingers crossed that all returns to normal. In the meantime I wish you all a great festive season. Would have posted a pic but hey!what can ya do. :) best regards to all sandie
