Dear kindred spirits...I found this and felt it is really a lovely wish for New Year.

may I just get to keep on doing what I have been doing

may there be peace in my house, peace in my heart

may grace surround us, love abound us

may small things matter this year, like they did last year

may birds light on our window sills, and snow fall softly in our yards

may the eagle fly up the river, not as a sign, but as a pleasure

may crows always travel in pairs,

may new hearts reach out to you, to find you receive them kindly

may the winter not bear down on you, but call you up to meet it

may we all learn to speak kind words or to hold our tongue

may we hear the melody of a child call our name

may we eat ice cream, dance freely, and be foolish

may we say our prayers and have them heard

as we begin again
