That's funny CB. Was actually tempted to do that to my "Wretched Mess", talk about a poor performer. Had high hopes for it. But, it's on it's way to being a 'wretched stick' and I won't bother replacing it either. At least I knew the HH was going to be a PIA, didn't expect the Wretched Mess to be one also. I'll take the HH down to the lake and see if it loves it down there. I'll check out the "Mariners Miracle" at Eddie's site. NOW you guys have me VERY curious. Ha! Man that site is going to get me way into trouble. . .

I've never run across a brug that WASN'T fragrant, LOL! That said, different folks' noses percieve fragrances differently. The first brug I ever grew was "Frosty Pink", and the scent of it almost made me swoon! Imagine my surprise when I read a post where someone referred to it as 'not very fragrant...' But I will say it's NOT as fragrant as your Charles Grimaldi. (*grin*)

Take heed... Most brugs do not come true from seed. Species plants bred with the same species will come true. Any crossing are a genetic crap shoot. That is why named cultivars are propagated by cuttings. That way each plant is a genetic duplicate of the "parent" plant. They will have the same characteristics. And generally will be self infertile. Take 100 seeds from a known cross and grow them all out. There may be none that are exactly like the named cultivar from that same previous crossing. Then again, there might be. Or it might be similar but have subtle differences. Odds are, most will be a simple white bloom, regardless of the parents. So be careful what you buy. You may not end up with what you thought you would.
