I was going to suggest Carding Mill too. Here's some shots from this morning. Great great bloomer. I agree with April on Heaven on Earth. Gorgeous prolific rose also. Mots pretty disease resistant but I spray. I bought Collette this yr and its suuuuuper slow blooming for me. Waiting for next yr.

CPM was doing well in the beginning but it didn't recover after squirrels damaged it two years ago. They seem to like "snapping" off the big canes. Hopefully this year will do better but if not I may have to move it to a different spot. But based on the few blooms I did have, I like Evelyn better because of the bigger blooms and its vigour in my garden.

One of the few apricot roses that I have that stays apricot in the hot sun is Sweet Fragrance. It's a Lim Easy Elegance rose that's rock solid hardy for me and absolutely blooms all season for me. No clues how the EE roses do in hot climates, but I've heard good reports of this one from multiple zones. I have most of the apricot Austins listed above and for me, they only bloom on 6 week cycles and fade pretty quickly to cream in the sun. The best at staying apricot for me is Lady of Shalott, but it's not in a full sun setting. All of the roses mentioned so far have been hardy for me in zone 5, with the caveat that I haven't tried Soul Sister yet as she's still on order. Polka has been more or less cane hardy most years for me in zone 5, but these haven't exactly been typical years. It blooms on 6 week cycles for me as well and not all that many blooms at a given time, but its canes are so stiff that I can only get it bent partway to encourage laterals. Here's Sweet Fragrance - it's the big fluffy light to dark apricot roses at the upper end of this photo. I'd rank it in the top 10 of my 1000 or so roses. Here's Polka - more of a muted apricot than the bright apricot of SF, but both are definitely on the peach side rather than orange. As you can see, even in part sun mine fade to cream after a bit, and they have some yellow tone at times. FWIW, here's Lady of Shalott - these blooms can also fade quite a bit like all the other Austins, so this is absolutely as bright as the blooms get, and this one was notably different in how bright it was. This is more typical of my usual blooms: Cynthia

Tammy (zone 5/6 southern Ontario) I'm in zone 5a, how is the winter survival of Port Sunlight compared to Elle? Thanks for any info. If someone else know about the hardiness of the above, please let me know. Much appreciated.
