OK, I've sorted out the photos. This one is 'Abbey's Tangerine', not orange at all but a luscious watermelon colour that can look like silk in certain conditions. The leaves and stems are prickly, the flowers are unscented and last only a day--actually, maybe half a day in full sun--but they're very pretty. My plants have overwintered in pots under the eaves but I'm told they should be able to withstand the occasional winter frost we get here, so I'll be planting them out sometime in the next few months.
