Anything but a pink iceberg...!

My daughter loves her garden but is only part-way up the learning curve and completely distracted at present by her 9-month-old baby.

Her favourite rose in the garden so far is the DA, The Prioress, but, as she remarks, the lady is huge. She wants a rose for the front of the border which is fairly low, bushy and leafy, constantly in bloom and, preferably, because of the baby, fairly thornless. And yesterday she announced she would buy a pink iceberg! I can't stand it! There must be a better choice, preferably one with heaps of perfume. (A baby's education can't start too soon.)

Is there a low-growing DA that would fill the bill? Or something else entirely?
