Update...its only been about 2 1/2 weeks but one set of buds opened today...not the darker shade of pink I was hoping but still very pretty! When I received this plant a little over 2 yrs. ago it had some spent blooms on it...that's how I knew it was the "pink" flowers. This picture was taken right after I received it, over 2 yrs. ago. Noticed how pink the blooms were (this was taken in Feb. 2010) I have NO idea what causes the blooms to change color? Not sure if its weather related since these are normally winter bloomers and its been in the 90's for several weeks now. Just wanted to update this thread! Thanks!!

I've picked 2 sungold, 1 beauty queen, 1 lemon, around 8 small black oval tomatoes (can't find the tag & can't remember the variety); these were already ripe when I picked them. I've also picked several early girls, which are coloring up in my kitchen. Yes, this looks better than last year to me, too! Good flavor so far & I think all varieties have set fruit. Other veggies are doing well, too - bean & zuke production will soon outpace my demand for them & peppers & eggs are setting fruits, tho they're small due to my sluggishness in getting them planted.

Ester, so glad your order finally got shipped. I was surprised by your experience with Casita Azul as they have been one of my favorites for heucherals for the last several years and have been very responsive and sent quality plants every time. Hopefully you will be receiving good quality plants to compensate for the lack of communication and follow-up from them. Vivian

We did the same thing 4 years ago. I wish I had selected quartz instead of granite. My granite is too brown and too dark. I also find it’s hard to clean, even using granite cleaner. Your cabinets look great! Did he use a poly coating after he painted them, or just a semi gloss paint? White or gray subway tile, either glass or ceramic, would look great if you’re going with a gray granite.
