Tall, easy to train as a climber in a protected spot, bloomed steadily, no fragrance; the color blends well with clematis. Got spots, but overall good health. It was beautiful with a shrubby clematis at its feet, but I finally dug it out last spring because I really want strong fragrance or exceptional health and growth. The Moore rose "Keith's Delight" gives me 10 times the flowers that are also a pale yellow, but with an added pink edge. There's no fragrance, but constant heavy bloom and super healthy shiny leaves, canes are thick and robust, and the plant easily stays a plump 4-5' round bush. Keith's Delight is robust and fully flowered -- one of Moore's best! Have you seen Karl Ploberger? It is an under-appreciated rose. It was bred by Kordes, but is not like most of his roses. Tall but graceful; healthy, hardy, and a steady bloomer with sweetly fragrant (a sweet myrrh scent -- I wonder @ its parentage!) pale cream/very pale yellow flowers that go with most things. Roses Unlimited carries it.

That would be my guess, as C. tommasinianus has just barely (mostly) finished flowering here. And they multiply better than vernus types.

Ashley , that whole bush shot does look more like Crocus Rose. Rosecanadian and Toto, those are some gorgeous pics of MIP blooms. I bought one last fall from Heirloom and my plant has had a lot of blooms this year but most are more washed out looking. I don't fret about that because for me blooms usually improve as a plant gets older and bigger. The pink rose kind of looks like Heritage. One distinct thing about Heritage is that the blooms blow fast. They do have a strong, sweet, citrusy fragrance.

I can't figure out why mine won't sprout this year. I'm in USDA Zone 6B. I overwintered them indoors then put the pots back out. It is now Oct 8 and nothing came up. I just upended one pot and was surprised to see 10 little bulbs, looking firm and good but no hint of a sprout. 1/4" to 3/8 estimated diameters. The pot contained largely organic matter. Moist from recent rains. No hard soil. I can only attempt to grow them in pots because of the voles.
