Nandina domestica 'nana'

Hi to all,

I have three dwarf Nandina which are growing fine but have failed to go that glorious red (the main reason I wanted them). I have seen them around my neighbourhood and no one else seems to have the same problem. I believed that it was the cold which triggered the red colouring. So what am I doing wrong? I can tell you it is cold down here! Any ideas anyone???

Cheers,

Dee.
