Is it a tropical or temperate type flower...

Its tropical but it'll grow in the temperates and subtropical quiet well. In very cold winters they might die off since its a tender perennial.

Is it a Orchid, so some kind of Lily also when does it flower...MM.

OK its back on now i guess the host just had some problems technically.
Sorry its not an Orchid MM and not a Lily. It flowers from spring all the way to mid autumn. Actually its a flower that will never have problems flowering as it produces flowers as often as its growing leaves. Its extremely easy to grow hehe.

Hmm im guessing that most of yous would have impatiens up in QLDs? I love the impatiens family pity the New Guinea Impatiens I have are very not easy to care for as the walleriana types.

One day the NG impatiens were fine and blooming the next day it got mauled by a family of "Impatiens Hawk moth Caterpillars" (MM you should be familiar with these hehe). Those buggas grow to 12 cms and the size of your finger with a apetite that strips the whole plant. I don't care how many gardeners treasure the moths (as humming bird look alikes that polinate exclusive Impatiens) they are really devasting pest to me. I have little hope of saving it since NG Impatiens don't strike from cuttings the way Impatiens Walleriana do. And in the end i lost a very pretty NG impatiens. Anyway is Liatris gonna continue the game?

I thought of Impatients because of the colour, but the shape put me off.
I dont have any of those just the normal ones, so no idea of their shape.
