Sir Walter Buffalo yellowing

Hello,

Last December we planted 200 square metres of Sir Walter Buffalo roll on in our front and back yards. The grass has taken nicely and looks absolutely fantastic in our front yard. It has also taken in the backyard but for some reason it has started to change colour from the lovely rich green to patches of lime green and in some places it looks quite yellow.

The soil was prepared in the same way, watered the same way and has had the same after care as the front yard. The backyard grass is still growing at the same rate as the front, it doesn't appear to be dying, it has just changed shades of green. Can anyone help me to explain this phenomenon?

Angelee
