Lala - You will love Ada May Musick! Mine is planted next to August Frost, and with all the rain we've had, that one grew gargantuan fans (4 feet tall) and stole a lot of Ada's sunshine. She's not as tall for me this year, and she doesn't have the great branching she had in the past. But she'll still have a pretty long run, and hopefully will rebloom. Julie Newmar's another irresistible girl. I hope she does well for you up there. I have a big clump of Bali Watercolor now - 11 fans. The scapes don't have a lot of buds this year, but I've got plenty of scapes. Michelle - You really lucked out getting TRUE NORTH by mistake. I understand it's an incredible rebloomer. Sue - Hillbilly Heart is a great one. I highly recommend it. Rita - I was out at 6:15 a.m., but the heavy dew stayed around until about 10. If often does that here in June. Ellie - You are right. That's honeysuckle. But it's become a weed here and is strangling daylilies and clematis on the side of the house. Chris and Kay - Freedom's Triumph is a really vibrant color. It's not an early morning opener, like I prefer, but the dew doesn't marr it , so that's a plus. Debra

Thanks a lot everybody! Wow, Swirling Water got picked ;) I guess I'll keep it then. Yes, quite a bit of instant rebloom, I started to write down and stopped at about twenty. In fact half of dls in this post have instant rebloom scapes (or scape). Debra, re performance of Filipina Bride and Choral Fantasy. CF added one fan, but there is only one scape and not many buds. FB on the other hand is a big clump and has lots of scapes (and instant) and has multiples almost every day. I should mention though that I got it (as a bonus) two times, plus it had a prolif. Also, JBs love it. Thanks for suggestion Kay, about my noid. YEs, I considered Nile Crane, as well as Aquamarine and Lady Diane but can't be sure. Hi Crackingtheconcrete, glad to see you :) Chris, sorry your Choral Fantasy didn't survive, mine was a bonus last year and I was skeptical about it overwintering, but the winter was very mild. Cindy, Filipina Bride seems to love heat. Even then it won't open sepals all the way on most of the flowers, but it is still better than when neither sepals or petals open on it like it was last year and in the beginning of this season.

The hospital beds are lovely. We did not have that kind of pretty bed at the hospital where I worked. You have a lot of pretty ones blooming. I like Whipped cream, and Firefly Frenzy. Of course, I also really like sultry Siren and Here comes Santa Claus. What color is the marking of the Here Comes Santa Claus? kay

woo i knew it as a gazania. I see heaps everyday on the pathways and parks the councils plant here.. in almost every colour there is (in gazania strains that is). Thanks and i have put up my mystery pic hehe.
