Comments (1)I don't think it will hurt the lemon trees because it's a small part of their soil volume. But I'm not speaking from first hand experience. It just seems that they should get what they need from both the low pH and high pH areas within their rootzone. Comments (1)Certainly possible, but you have to have a lot of patience to wait for flowers and fruits. In the very best citrus climates seedlings may flower in a minimum of 4-5 years. In a nearly impossible citrus climate (like here in the UK), seedlings take anything from 12 to 20 years to start fruiting.
