This bush started growing by itself 20 years ago. The leaves are very long, thin, needle-like. It has masses of white flowers in spring followed by as many small seed pods, which holds only one seed. The appearance is very much like a shortened pea pod and they appear to be edible.
Incidentally, it is never watered other than what falls naturally from the sky.
Can anyone help in identifying what this bush is?
