It looks like one of many things, but my gut feeling is that it's Pegler's Aloe. But distichous and blue and small is tough to ID at this point. ETA-you'll pardon me for saying so, especially if the rest of your Aloes are fine and dandy, but that rich looks kind of rich for a young plant (or an older one, for that matter). Was it just watered? I really hate losing any Aloe, and an A. peglerae is almost the worst (thankfully, fairly easy to replace), since it's such a pretty aloe. Pic courtesy of Ernesto Sandoval. Weigela was my first though as well........and there are a number of cultivars with gold foliage and red flowers. However it is too indistinct and distant to confirm that ID.

Randi Since of my location/growing zone, my plants have to be inside for a long time. And I am just lucky that I have garden so I can put them outdoors for Summer. Many ppl live in apartments and may not have even a small balcony, and still grow very nice and healthy plants indoors. To prevent lots of etiolation, I use supplemental lights. And I believe that keeping them relatively cool (not freezing) and dry helps to slow down growth during short winter days. Many do not water succulents for extended periods of time, like 2 mo or even longer. But if they are kept warm, they likely keep growing more and need lots of light. Many are dormant during cold months anyways. I do not know how cold is winter in your location, but perhaps plants can overwinter in unheated GH or sunroom?

I'd like to see a fully open flower first. Leaves look more like azalea while buds look very gardenia-like. If it is an azalea, it is not going to be very happy for very long indoors. They make very poor houseplants.
