gardening newbie questions

Hey guys my name is Callum, and I am very new to gardening, so please go easy on me
Anyway,

I have been wondering, I am growing some plants that I recently propagated at school, I transplanted them into 3' pots and now I want to know how long can I keep them in the pots.

I would like to keep them until I move out, the questions are:
Should I transplant them later into bigger pots and then just leave them?
I know that Smaller pots will restrict the growth of my plants but will it be detrimental the the overall life of the plants?
And Finally, feeding, how often should I feed plants that are in pots, and If i want to keep it all organic should I use compost teas?
How much and how often.

The plant list.

Acacia madeniI- maidens wattle

Corymbia citriodora- lemon scented gum

Eucalyptus deglupta- rainbow gum

and a little Woolami Pine tree. Im very scared he is going to die ; (

Some tomatos that Im not worried about i am still curious about nutrients and what not to soil though.
