:) Just what I expected. No proof of evolution. pineresin, Please don't change the context of what I said. I admit I used bad grammar when I said a Creator "simply made" the plants and animals. However, what I intended to convey was the obvious handiwork in creation, and that's it's quite simple to observe creation as 100% proof of a Creator. The same way a building is 100% proof of a builder. Look at a banana, for example. It's so obvious they were made for us to eat. Non-slip surface. perforated wrapper. Perfectly shaped for consumption. A tab for peeling. Fits neatly in the human hand... etc etc. Evolution assumes such a notion similar to this: I will go out to my garage, fill it with junk, light some dynamite, and billions of years later, some intelligent person will find an "evolved" Mercedes Benz. As silly as it sounds, that is the essence of the evolutionary process. Now that's a religious belief if I ever heard one, and takes quite a bit of faith. noki, You're absolutely right in your assessment of the universe. How can a sane person conclude that all of this complexity come about by an explosion, as demonstrated earlier. It's like dropping a barrel of apples and all of them perfectly lining up on the pavement in a row evenly spaced, sitting right side up. It's laughable. That's why you're last comment sums up the modern humanist mind. It respects and honors the creation instead of the Creator. As far as Caledonia is concerned, the reason why species of plants and animals are thought to be "related", is simply because God used similar blueprints for different species. Again, not common "ancestors" but a common Creator. Now, I promise to let this be my final post in this particular thread, and let y'all have at it. It is a gardening site after all right? However, here are some very simple questions that will never be answered by even the most intelligent evolutionists: 1. Where did the space for the universe come from? 2. Where did matter come from? 3. Where did the laws of the universe come from (gravity, inertia, etc.)? 4. How did matter get so perfectly organized? 5. Where did the energy come from to do all the organizing? 6. When, where, why, and how did life come from dead matter? 7. When, where, why, and how did life learn to reproduce itself? 8. Hi there all- Yep Ann- I posted back on the 20th that I had received your envelope- thanks again for the very nice selection sent in! I received a few more envelopes today- Roflol, Clay Lady, Kliddle, and Nan6161! Whew- so many many great seeds you all have sent in! I am using a laundry basket with an alpha-accordion file for the general swap- and individual pocket manila folders for each member- and I am already running out of room with only 13 member envelopes out of 38 members (so far) sent in! That IS a lot of seeds!- OK- a lot of paper too but hey- Shilohyn - how ever many or few you send in is GREAT! The mix is wonderful too. They are sure to be appreciated by those who receive them! I hope I have been answering questions as they appear on the board here- But some of the entries are being "squished" so that I can not read them- It must be time to start a new update thread- but I think I will wait till Sunday if I can.
