This is probably what the Noisy Miner said to the Bearded Dragon

When it came out from under its favourite Hibiscus Shrub:

Who are you:

Me too You are not the least bit Sociable:

I will go and visit my mates the Kooka's:

Trouble is they are too busy eyeing off the little green frog:

So much Fauna on the block this morning, Now I think that Spikey is a Dad and this dragon is a Mum.

Because this morning I found some baby B.Dragons only 9cms ( 3 ins ) long they were so cute in a dragon way

And yesterday we found Spikey in the chook yard and the same day one of the smaller eggs disappeared.

Do they eat eggs ???????? or maybe it was a Crow or some other critter that ate it.

So guess who's out the door and down to the chook house as soon as he sees a chook come out now..

you have the greatest wildlife mm, loved the pics and storyline. those water dragons are so cute! I wish I had some of those, and the little frogs, I guess it's too dry over here for them, we never get frogs. I cant wait for the next part in the series :)

Who do You Think You Are is one of my favorite shows! I wish the average Joe would have all that "extra" help if they'd go to all those libraries and county offices, etc. My family is aware that our grandfather was orphaned at age 2 and lived with another family (whose name we have). But when we found the adoption papers a few years ago we saw that they adopted him at age 17 1/2. We wonder why, or for what reason would they wait for until he was almost an adult?

"I saw where Reba said some of what she found out was disturbing, and she had to do some soul searching. What was that about?" I don't recall exactly to what she was referring, although I do remember her making that statement. It might have been the fact that her 4x great-grandfather George Brasfield was a slave trader. Also, Reba wanted to find out which of her ancestors was the first to set foot on American soil. Her research found that her 6x great-grandfather, also named George Brasfield, arrived in the USA at the age of nine, and he was an indentured servant. She found out that he had made the journey without any other family at all. She couldn't imagine why anyone would send their child, alone, on a journey would took several months, to end up in another country. Reba was upset with her ancestors for having sent their child on such a journey alone at that age. She ended up finding out that young George's mother, Abigail, had died, and in those days it was very difficult for a man to raise a child alone. So, George's father, Thomas, sent him to the States. Apparently it was sort of common in situations like this for a parent to send a child to the US, in the hope of the child eventually having a better life than would have it they had stayed back in England. This was one of the best episodes and I think it was because the 'celebrity' was not only interested in learning about his ancestors but he actually had an interest in American history. It doesn't hurt either that Rob Lowe is handsome and has stunning blue eyes. However good looks aside it was interesting to hear his comments and questions as his family history was revealed. It wasn't the usual 'awesome' 'wow' 'amazing' - there were some but then he followed up with a complete sentences or questions. I used to live just outside of Newton, PA and it is a lovely town north of Philadelphia. However you would think someone would have told them that the name is pronounced 'new town' and not 'new ton'.

Yes I am very lucky living in this little bit of Paradise.
GH I don't have to go looking anymore the birds make so much noise I just grab the camera
And shoot away, its very interesting to see all the antics they get up too.
TG I am sorry to are not able to see the frogs and dragons but you probably have
other very interesting animals birds or insects on your block. Thanks Everyone....Cheers..MM.

MM they are beautiful pics. Love the kookas, I'm a bit partial to them as we have 2 who were injured and can never be released, so they're kinda like pets.

Love the pics. MM especially the Kookas, we have birds that try to come in the back door when it is open but when I get the camera ready they are gone how do you get so close? is it your special lense? great pics.

Yes Jan it is a 70-300mm zoom lens and then I crop the pics,
Using only a tiny rectangle piece out of the middle....
Jules you are my kind of person, what wonderful pets they would be.
