Just want to share that it was your spreadsheet on googledocs last year that gave me the idea for our Zone Wars spreadsheet. By using a table in html Manda had gotten everyone's screen name listed individually for the first time, instead of an anonymous total. But it was tedious to do in html & hard to hand off to someone else in the future. Manda had posted about wanting to use googledocs but did not get around to it before she got sick. I clicked through to your spreadsheet in reading about your plant sale last year, your charity plant sale organized in nice online spreadsheets. Just what we needed! I read all the googledocs help and voilÃÂ - easy excel in an online document instead of complicated html. Hard working Terrene has had to split merged cells and squeeze in extra zones but between NancyPlants and Terrene, Zone Wars is splendidly displayed. It is thanks to you! Hello Everyone... Cactusmcharris...yes, that is me behind that huge Agave!!! We were on vacation down on the Outer Banks fishing that day...I really didn't want to post a pic of myself...but I wanted to show the size of the Agave!!! "Great Hair day after boating all day!!!" LOL... I know you have many palms up in your area (Kamloops) : ) beacuase I have passed through your area several years ago on my way from Banff to Canum Lake near 100 mile house!!! Beautiful area...lots of snow, but missing the palms!!! If you ever get the urge to hug an Agave...make sure the points have been removed!!! LOL...or else you will have natural piercings all over...this is a plant that demands respect!!! That's why I had to give this "Mac Daddy" a small hug!!! It has to be the biggest one that I have ever seen growing close in my area... Hello Josh...That is one beauty of an Agave!!! That AGave came from a friend of mine that is no longer here with us...so it is very special to me...I call it "My Jack Plant" A coworker of mine had it growing in PA and sent me a pup to grow...It has taken off and loves the climate here in VB. I really need to plant it in the ground because it is so root bound, but I am afraid of losing it...hopefully next spring I will plant it somewhere in my back yard...my son gets very tired of moving it around for me...like I said to catsusmcharris..you get pierced all the time!! My computer's hard drive crashed back in November, got the blue screen of death, then the black screen of death, and that was all she wrote. The reader arm in the drive bounces around on the platter with a clicking sound, making it unable to read the platter. A friend tried installing a new hard drive in the computer but it wouldn't take. Some other components in the computer's mother board must have been fried as well. I lost everything. Some of my pictures were saved, the ones I downloaded onto Photobucket and Facebook, but the rest are gone. I lost my novel too, fortunately I had the first three chapters saved in my email, the rest I had to write all over again. After that fiasco of losing my computer, my friend installed Dropbox, so now my important files, like my novel, automatically go into my Dropbox account whenever I work on it and save it, so if and when this computer I have now decides to go all blue or black screen of death on me, I can still access my files. I'll also back up on a CD too, but Dropbox is more convenient. Anyway, sorry you lost your computer and everything on it. I can feel your pain. :( Karen

drat...I typed a big answer and it morphed!!!!!! Okay, here I go again!! LG, I have 50 teeny peat pots and some basil seed. I will start them a few weeks early in my sewing room window... Kathleen, I apologize for highjacking your supper...I owe you one if I can ever entice you to Texas! Since each table will have it's own little theme, I can get by with using all sorts of paper goods. Tuesday Morning often has a good assortment of odd plates and napkins, so I will be checking there often!! Saturday I picked up a package of plates and napkins with birdies and nests on them...how cool is that?!! OreosMom, that sounds like a cool centerpiece for the desert table....I have to think on that and see what I can figure out! Thank you to all of you for taking your time to help me brainstorm!!
