Barry, I don't know if you are still online or not but email me more info about this. If it can be used on boats I might have a bunch of people interested. We installed the green neon lights for cars under the rolled edge top edge of our deck for safety reasons since we fish at night a lot and hubby uses it to be able to see the trailer in the mirror driving home at at night since its wider than the truck it helps a lot. People are always asking him about it and wanting something like that for their boats so If you can get me the info before Saturday I will be seeing about a hundred or more people who all want to fancy up their boats that day for our annual get together and the end of our tournament. Get me some pricing info and power source info. The green light also draws in bait fish to the boat which is a plus, lol.

If you are not noticing problems then I would just keep on keepin on. Sometimes those errors happen and don't really mess things up it depends on what it is. for example if you tried to remove a program and part of it did not get removed it could throw a red flag, if some program tries to run while something else is running it could conflict and throw a flag. But when we have things happen where we see pop up warnings etc then going to take a look is a good idea since we might find the cause. It could be that you need to go get the updates for your MS Office programs and if you have it on your pc you most definitely should be getting the updates because there have been many many big security updates for office products. If you have it on your pc and do not do the security updates it can leave you open and vulnerable to some stuff you don't want to be open and vulnerable to. Not all office programs get their updates thorough windows updates so you must go to the actual office update page and scan your pc to see what it says you need. And usually it will ask you to put your MS Office CD in the cd drawer at some point during the updates. Office that is the update site you can see the get updates options up in the top right you want office updates. or chose the check for updates button/ I would not get rid of MS Office that is a very very expensive program and if you ever need to create a document or type a letter etc you will need it.

I can not believe that it is gone. I was told it would be back shortly, but nothing. :(

Well, you've learned one lesson: Don't ever register your domain through your host. It's a pain in the behind if you want to transfer it. I always recommend to people that you use a plain old domain registrar like gkg.net or godaddy.net (I prefer gkg.net myself). You can then point the domain to wherever you eventually host the site. Lesson two would be, do your research when getting a webhost. There are lots of bad ones out there. And plenty of good ones. The problem is finding "real" reviews of hosts (a lot of the review sites have fake reviews on them). I use www.webhostingtalk.com as a resource a lot, and search there on any potential hosts that I'm considering -- you generally get the straight scoop from people posting there. Lesson three: you get what you pay for. $2.00 a month web hosting is...well, frankly, a joke. That's probably why they get generally poor reviews. To get decent service, customer support, etc., you really need to be paying somewhere in the $8.00 - $15.00 a month range for shared hosting for a basic site, IMO. As for what to do now -- personally, I would try to move away from this host. I did a search on 1and1.com on the forum I mentioned above, and they seemed to be a pretty mixed bag as far as reviews. You can definitely do better than that. There is NO reason they should fight you on letting you take your domain with you -- you just need to be very upfront, and don't take any crap from them. On the other hand, if you don't want to deal with the mess of trying to move, you can try them for a while, and see how it goes. Some people do seem to like them just fine. Maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones!
