uh, hi there fellow gardeners/horticulturilists/beginners my name is kev ... go figure, just wanted to say hi, see who uses the boards, find out who's into what.

Myself, I got into gardening as a wee kid, my grandmother taught me alot and thankfully passed on her green thumbs, have always had a greenhouse jammed full with an assortment of tropical plants and grew up helping weed the gardens mass planted with lilies, phlox, dianthus, petunias, sweetpeas, and any other number of cottage garden flowers, my interests led me into the tropical plants sector, mainly ferns at first, now bromeliads, my father and I took over her gardens after she passed and we've now set ourselves up a mini oasis of tropical rainforest plants, palms everywhere, my latest venture is finding different edible plants that can grow here and there and learning how to cook and present them in different ways, of course this has led me to herbs and I'm thoroughly enjoying being able to make meals almost entirely out of my own backyard. I love Asian and Indian flavones so am now branching out from your more classic selection of herbs to incorporate more exotic herbs and spices as well. If anyone else shares my interests and would be interested in trading seeds or even just advice then please don't be afraid to say hi, I don't bite, just like sharing my passion with others, ok that's enough rambling, hope to say hi to some of y'all soon :)
