In my business, I used to like the one "if it's confidential, it will be left in the photocopier".

In my case it seems to be that, if I have just put the last load of washing into the front load washer and started it up, there will always be one dirty sock left out :-(

Murphy must have lived in my house too.

I have alarge poster of Murphy's law in the smallest room in the house and I have had visitors come out, put their glasses on and go back in so that they can read it.

Mine happened the other day,
The darn T.V. and video won't co-operate with me , serviceman came and it worked perfectly for him. $45 call out fee. Huh !!!!

ah good ole' murph's law,

and true to the law when i worked on motor vehicles for me and friends if i ever dropped a flat spanner it would always roll to under the middle of the car, never failed on grass or cement no matter.

and if you dropped a screw or washer or nut whatever while working over grass/lawn and immidiatly pushed the car away you will never find that dropped item.
