my neighbors & I are dealing with this now only it's a little sparrow....it's the same sparrow who has been walking around more than flying all winter. It flies to the scrub trees on our property line & sits & then comes down to my neighbors car. When she leaves it goes to mine, mine leaves it goes to my other neighbor. We all live in close proximity. All other times it stays at my neighbors chimney....Long , silver & very reflective. It also pecks at our house windows & all windows of the cars. The poop is ridiculous. Two of us have bags on our mirrors but it doesn't much help as it goes to the other windows. It's a pain in the butt having to either wash the car or remove & retie the bags all the time. I tried putting a mirror on the end of the deck, where the bird can surely see it but it hasn't worked yet. We are going crazy! P.S. I tried the mirror in our tree where the bird feeders are but removed it as a woodpecker darn near drove itself crazy by flitting at it for a solid afternoon. The hawk in Menifee, CA can only be a Cooper's Hawk but it is an oddly-colored one. Something going on with the feathers, such as a heavy molt or missing feathers for some other reason. If you have other photos please post.

I have the Dyson V6. It's very easy to use and empty and does an almost excellent job in the kitchen. I bought an accessory short hose to attach to the vac for above the floor cleaning to get more flexible access to inside the microwave, etc.

I will take in the eggs before its too late. But that's my question...should I? Probably not. The chances of you being able to raise healthy chicks of this species from eggs are slim to none. Something else to consider - It's not legal for you to do that without a permit or unless a licensed rehabber. Sometimes nature is tough. If eggs are disturbed or broken, there is a good chance she will nest again and raise a successful brood in weather slightly better. If the nest should fall intact and eggs not broken, it might be acceptable to try to wire or somehow fasten it back up, but you should limit your intervention to that. Please don't 'rescue' a nest with eggs as a preventative and take it indoors.
