The fabrics have been swapped and packaged up to mail so I will get them out this afternoon. I hope everyone had a good time with this. I added a little something to the envelopes as I packaged them and think one of my suprises may have been left out. I am so sorry if that happened. I just could not stand the thought of opening all the envelopes to search and see. Thank you all for your kind words over my new stash. I had already done exactly as some of you said you would by displaying my basket on the table and then emptying it to admire and feel each one and then putting them back in again only to later do the same thing again. Now I just need to figure out how to post a picture so you can see them.

1/4 yard usually cut as 1/2 of 1/2yd cut down the middle, ending up with a piece 18" by 1/2 the width of the bolt. They can be used for anything where you need a piece longer than a regular 1/4 yd across the bolt. Lots of kits come in fat quarters. Fat quarter packets can be put together many ways....lights, darks, mediums. Varying shades of one color..light to dark. The colors needed for a project.

Well, so much for organization taking over my life .... When I first signed up for this swap, I pulled my fabrics, went ahead and got them ready to send, then put them in a safe place for sending when the time got near. So much for that! The hiding place is so safe that I haven't found them yet, and now the mailing deadline has passed. Well, that's what I get for trying to get organized out of some semblance of order that would make sense to me... Hopefully everyone who was able to get theirs in the mail enjoys the fabrics they get back. I'll get it together next time! Odessa
