Are there any blue roses?

No true blue rose exist yet. Some roses are sold as blue but are really a lavender color. Most of these lavender roses are difficult to grow and are quite susceptable to disease. There is no true blue gene in the rose.

Try Nor'East Miniature Roses. They sell bulk. You aren't going to find any blue roses, though, as blue isn't in their DNA. Some roses will have certain color castes due to temperature and fertilization. A rose society or Consulting Rosarian in your area may be better able to advise you on the particular roses that will fare better in your climate.
