Stacy, I have more time now, and thus, here it is: I started by browning the brats, added chopped garlic, and carrot slices, then the chopped up cabbage simmered all for a bit, then added chicken stock. That's the stock I had at hand. simmered till the whole house smelled yummy... ;) I had one package of sausage, I think it was 6 a BUNCH of garlic, almost a whole garlic I think it was 4 large carrots and there were two heads of cabbage, and finally 1 container of chicken stock Hope this helps. Yeah, I am getting help in the back yard. The Asplundh Tree Expert Co. is out cutting tree limbs in the neighborhood to help with electric lines and branches. This tree is actually on the neighbors lot, but totally overhangs my back corner. This guy is up there trimming. :) YEAH! well, just climbing here and finally trimming!

If you want printed cards, you can check out snapfish or shutterfly where you upload your pic and then paste it onto a card with lots of options for various surrounds be it decorative, words, etc. They have cards that are folded or single cards more like post cards with envelopes. I make my own xmas cards every year using a photo and I write a haiku for the interior. This was one of my favorites...the year I got my little kitties: Inside:

Two oddities under the bird feeder yesterday. This pale Grey squirrel and...Redwing blackbirds (along with the Starlings and Doves here) These would be this years hatchlings with the light stripe on the wings. We have never had the Redwings at this time of year. Normally they pass through here in early March, and back through in September.
