Casey, if you had looked to your right when you took this picture, you would see the house I grew up in. My nieces refer to this as "Poppy's Pond".

Jodi, I have enjoyed your Sitka photos as that is one of my best friend's maiden name. I e-mailed her to ask if she knew about the town in Alaska and she said she had a friend who went here and brought her back a Sitka shirt.

Angel and Wolfy (not the best of friends) attempt to share a bed. Angel is 15, and Wolfy is 13.

Mary Ann, I have an oval sticker I bought in Sitka that reads:
SITKA - Quaint little drinking village with a fishing problem.

I meant point out that there is a Bald Eagle on the mast of one of the ships in Sitka harbor. Eagles are everywhere in Alaska and I never grew tired of seeing them.
