From last year, posted in honor of my sweet chickadees, who were patient with me while I delayed setting up the bird feeders this fall in an effort to wait out the bears.

No snow here--and I'm grateful for that. Thanksgiving dinner at my daughter's house. She took the picture (with her phone), so she's not in it, unfortunately. As you can see, my granddaughter (sitting next to me on the right) is recovering well from her injuries last August.

I deliver the flyers every week and I've received chocolate bars, granola bars and a small bottle of orange juice when I meet some of the people. THIS was in the customer's mailbox with my name on the package. I'm excited! And yes, it takes very little (obviously) to make me happy and excited. Now that the cold weather is here, but no snow, these things will grip the packages quickly and easily.

Let the turkeys come up north to Canada. They would be safe for now!!! We celebrate our thanksgiving in October. We are well into setting up for christmas
