I like how the one duckling looks like it's sitting on the lily pad. Cute, Veta.

My ducks, Scooter and Tre, all grown up. I hatched them from an incubator made from an old cooler and a 40 watt light bulb.

The ducks are from Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg,MB. It's a fountain and thus the pennies in it (duck did ignore them).
Mama duck (hen? what is a name for female duck anyway?) must have taken
ducklings for the first try at swiming: one was very good at it and the other swam from one leaf to another,
trying to walk his way across the water :o)
He had truble jumping/climbing into the water too

It's not often I have something to share ... but here's a recent visitor to our yard.
