LOL Vicki at first I was thinking that's really hot! Then I realized it was ºF not ºC (39ºC would be 102ºF).

Mercy that cactus patch looks scary. Hope the dog doesn't run through it!

We are enjoying planting new things around the new house, but today I have just a twinge of homesickness for "back home."

This is a picture taken on a safari ride at the local animal park last year. Nick is anxiously awaiting the opening of that park this year. They open in May (but I swear last year it was April).

socks, I was shocked to see it so close to the path. It's in a sort of secluded area and I had him off leash as we were the only ones on the entire trail. He did trott past it, however. Here's another pic.

Hayjud, I really like that greenery. Overall I had rather have green plants than flowers. When I plant flowers usually Vinca, I plant lots of them and all the same color. I also put dragon wing begonia in a planter on my porch and it attracts a lot of attention. My neighbors are always asking what my flowers are.
