haha! Nicole, I asked because I remembered some contention a few months back about a photo being posted that wasn't taken by the person who posted it. :p I love your marble-top table! I have two rectangular marble slabs that I picked up at a marble quarry in Vermont many years ago. I'd love to make one into a table top, but I don't do woodworking to custom-make the base. lol! FWIW, a marble slab is great for rolling pie crusts and making candy (like pouring out caramels and fudge) because it stays cold better than other surfaces. :) Thanks for the kudos on the basket/photo! I didn't take the photo though, so I'll probably be in trouble. lol! and if you look really close at the top of the basket, to the right of the handle, you'll see that the border wasn't finished perfectly. The willow got a little too stiff and started to peel and crimp so I just needed to get it done asap. ;o)

An organization we belong to is having a huge yard sale as a fundraiser for the club, we were dropping stuff over the last couple of days, and helping set up. My wife snapped a picture of the stuff in the tent and posted in on Facebook. In this background of one picture was this "Pig Lamp". Several of her Facebook friends noticed it in the background and want it, and are starting a veritable bidding war, including one person who lives in South Dakota.

Thanks Jim! Actually, I was planning on cedar shutters. It matches the shakes on the garage. I know it's hard to tell, I was trying to cover all the black with something. The other option is to take down the shutters and beef up the windows with wood painted more of the cream color. I'm still deciding. :)

Party.....cool! Weeeeeell.......since I'm going to hang it, it needs to be toned down....not too bright. I have a tendency to get tired of things if I focus on them. :0) Also I was planning on a dark walnut frame, made from left over flooring, placed upright on the sides. Maybe something like this.... http://www.greatbigcanvas.com/view/trees-in-the-snow-goldenstedt-germany,1050611/?s=cFVmJOMdjOnKLVucXA83SnRb3flv1fVsWEfgMxaRF4lK8jtE5kURoBHd0ZDb
