Comments (12)haha! Nicole, I asked because I remembered some contention a few months back about a photo being posted that wasn't taken by the person who posted it. :p I love your marble-top table! I have two rectangular marble slabs that I picked up at a marble quarry in Vermont many years ago. I'd love to make one into a table top, but I don't do woodworking to custom-make the base. lol! FWIW, a marble slab is great for rolling pie crusts and making candy (like pouring out caramels and fudge) because it stays cold better than other surfaces. :) Thanks for the kudos on the basket/photo! I didn't take the photo though, so I'll probably be in trouble. lol! and if you look really close at the top of the basket, to the right of the handle, you'll see that the border wasn't finished perfectly. We spent 3 days in Aspen Colorado. They had a balloon festival, wine tasting and car show....but the real attraction were the changing aspen!!! WOW! Mother nature stole the show!

10 years agoI found an interesting rock at the golf course the other day and decided to paint it. It's just dots of acrylic paint, but it's bright and cheerful and I think it's pretty. :)

Nicole, is this abstract what you meant to link to? If so, it should be easy once you choose your colors! even something you and your DH could paint together. :)
Not sure if it'd be what you want, but you can also tape off the canvas
in thirds or quadrants (or whatever shapes/sizes) and paint something different in each resulting
panel. It might be less daunting than tackling such a huge piece all at
