I love your flowers, just gorgeous. I couldn't find anything "natural" in those colors, at least not in the same picture, but I did come up with this. It was a birthday present I got a few years ago.

I cannot come close to those colors or flowers. How about cherry tomatoes on the vine!

My photo isn't bright and cheery, but I am. ;^) I finished this HANDLED willow basket last night and although it's far from perfect, I can tell that I'm making progress with my skill level!!! This is homegrown willow and the hardest part is understanding how to prepare it for weaving. :p I just love the scent of willow being woven.... I can only think of describing it as honey.

Thank you murraysmom, alisande, and nicole! I am actually loving this new basket. It has a low handle, is very strong, and will be a great use in the gardens. :)

Here's how tough it is to weave.... this is me in my weaving finest. :) At this point I've made the base, inserted the side spokes (all the sticks you see), and am beginning to weave the sides. And I'm pulling against my body with all my strength. lol!

That looks pretty hard to do. I'm guessing you have a lot of strength in your hands!!

Also, I like your crocs. :)

We drove to Moab, Utah today. The scenery along the way was beautiful.

Thanks, mm, I'm not strong but I am determined, and those are my fav crocs! I have 3 pairs -- allegedly identical except for color -- and they all fit differently. :p

Nita, great road pic w/ the cat. Is the cat traveling all this way with you?! if so, you're very lucky that it likes riding!!!

Party, Nita is traveling with 3 cats!! They are very good travelers and have covered a lot of miles with Nita and Mike!!

Party, here are our three cats riding on the dash board as we traveled yesterday. They have logged about 70,000 miles between the motor home and when we owned a 5th wheel and they road in the truck. They like the motor home so much better since they don't get out at all. We put them in when we leave home and they don't leave the motor home until we get back home to Arizona. Their names from left to right are Smokey, Bandit and Dusty.

Nita, you are so lucky that they all like being in the car!!! Maybe the terrain makes a difference, because the steep hills and sharp curves around here will definitely make most car-riding cats sick. :p
