Threadheads October Birthday Blocks

I know some of the blocks have already been sent, so here is the thread to post on. Please remember to let me know when you get your blocks. I am sorry to say mine will be late since my machine is still in the shop.

Michele - I finished your block this morning and thought it had a chance of still getting to you by Tuesday, so I sailed off to the p.o. to make sure of correct postage with the new rates. Well, I thought they were open until 11:30 on Saturday, but it seems they close at 11:00. I got there at 11:01 and everything was locked up tightly! Then I rushed home with the idea of just putting way too much postage on it and putting it in my box for pickup. I passed our mail carrier at the corner - so missed that chance too!! Now it won't go out until next Tuesday. I'm so sorry. Bonnie

Thank you everyone, and thanks again to everyone in the threadhead group! The fabric I added to this appears more on the green side than it does in person. Every shade of turquoise and blue from the blocks are in the fabric. That was the hard part finding it. I knew from the very beginning that I wanted to throw some yellow in there somewhere :) Kelly, I asked for 12Â½" turquoise and white blocks, quilters choice. You should join next year! I know I will be first in line to sign up again. Like scraphappy said, it really does help you think outside the box and try things you may not normally try when making the blocks. Hi everyone!!!

I was out of town for the last three days and just got home tonight and finally got to open all my squishies...;-)

I have now also received squishies from:

I have opened all of them and I am just speechless!!! They are allllll just gorgeous! I can't wait to get a picture taken and post it for all of you to see. I will take a picture of these 8 tomorrow afternoon in the daylight and then another picture when the rest of them get here...;-)

Thanks so much everyone!!! I am soooo pleased and can't wait to start another birthday block exchange!!!

I have received a beautiful block from hayden2239....thank you so much!

Also, earlier I neglected to thank two who sent me extra fabric....Bozogardener and CoAlaska....thanks a bunch you two!

I think there are still two more to come in....waiting on them for pictures.
