Beautiful cabinet! Did someone make that for you? My fil made one similar for my mil. I wonder what ever hapened to it?

Casey,that is a lovely painting, and yes, you should have some of your photos framed. Always interesting and so enjoyable. This is my most loved painting...actually it is a print of an original done in the 'scratchboard' method. Bought it in the early '80s. Couldn't afford a companion print of Goldfinches on Thistle at the time, but have been searching for the last 10 years to find it. No luck....darn!

Want to see my dining room set and new blue walls? The dining room set was just delivered a little while ago. I haven't cut all the tags off it. I measured the area and compared it to the specs on the table before I bought it, but it still looks a little too big for the space. I'm going to have to find somewhere else to put the cabinet that's to the right of it. There's an extra leaf to the table too, but it's in the closet right now. Now to get some pads for the bottoms of the chairs so they don't scratch up the floor. The round table in the corner of the right hand side of the picture is my old table. It's going out in the garage later when Alex gets home. I have to e-mail a friend to see if her nephew ever got a new place so they can come pick it up. His apartment burned a couple months ago and he lost everything.

Three new photos I've added to our hallway. These I took three weeks ago in Alaska. I have several other photos I've taken on my travels hung in our hall as well. I've converted them to black and white, sent them out for professional printing and framed them. From left to right... Some call this "Old lady decorating." Seriously. But I've been wanting a curio cabinet since I was a little girl, so I guess I was born old and now officially an old lady. :)

Hi dee1.....no, it's made by the Kemp furniture company. I have the matching gentlemans chest & lingerie chest. Glad you like it!

Nicole, don't know her name is but she's a geisha. There's also a matching samurai who stand tall over her which I would just love to find to complete the set.

My DH gave her to me many years ago. There are no markings on it so I don't even know where to begin the search and the store he bought it at no longer exists.
