Awwwwwwww! Did you hear about the ducklings stuck in a drain up in the west end? Momma duck was in distress and someone went to see what the problem was. Her babies were in the drain and couldn't get out. People rescued the ducklings one by one and sent them on their way but momma still wasn't happy, quacking and squawking all the time. She disappeared for a while and came back with reinforcements - poppa duck!! Then they all paddled happily away!

I had time to take a walk through the woods on Sunday.
The wild columbine are in bloom.

Here's a small area of my garden. The lupines are The Governor (blue) and My Castle (red). I love the name My Castle. They were just starting to bloom.
