Love the pictures!! Casey, I'm sure you found many photo ops there. This is from my piano recital at age 8. I love the body language in this one. Notice my devoted suitor on the left! It's hard to interpret my expression, because the negative showed a white bar across my lips and I had to operate on them--not very successfully. My recollection is that I wasn't awfully appreciative of the suitor. Howie, to the right, is clearly distancing himself from the boy-girl stuff. He was a great guy....became a NYC lawyer with a nice family. He died last year. Carolyn, next to him (she's still my friend) looks happy. Sandra, in front, is a year younger and obviously basking in in the presence of all these grown-up 8-year-olds. :-)

You know how they always tell ya when you're decluttering to take photos of something and then discard it? That's what we did the other day. When Twinkie was still able to ride his motorcycle (we sold them all 3 years ago) one of his license plates said IB Quik. This is the "tombstone" that they made for him for the Halloween party at he "BUBBA Hut: (motorcycle club) All the riders had their bikes/names on a stone.

Last year I saw a seagulls nest in the same area with 2 eggs in it. That's why I went back this year, to see if I could find the nest again. Here are mama and daddy gull (Greater Black Backed Gulls)....not too happy with me nearby, but I only took 3 or 4 shots of the nest and left quickly.
