Nicole,you have a lot of iris's,are they a variety of colors?? My yellow ones are the only ones blooming so far,hope the other colors follow soon.

Kathi_mdgd.....I put these in when I moved in,19 years ago. They used to be very nice until the weeds took over...all different colors...red...bicolored/white & purple...a group of pink and black....I don't know what survived. I dug everything up, put in the raised bed, more dirt, preen(weed preventer) and replanted. Now...I'm just crossing my fingers. Last year "nothing" bloomed. So this year the mini's bloomed....waiting...waiting...waiting...

Kathi, that plant was in the area where stuff from South Africa was. It was in a green house. I don't think it is an outdoor plant except someplace where it doesn't freeze in the winter.

Moni, your plant is a hoya. You're right - where it freezes, it has to be in shelter. Here in southern California we have them hanging from the orange tree year-round. :)

Kathi, the pink in the picture is creeping phlox. The yellow is my favorite spring bloomer Euphorbia Polychroma or commonly known as cushion spurge. Here is a closer look. It is related to poinsettias.

Beautiful Minnie! When you said "head on" I thought you meant looking straight into the front of its face. This way it really does look like a horse. Well done.

Ron, what a fantastic photo of your dog! The best part is that he's not looking exactly at the camera; it looks like his eyes are focused on something just over your shoulder. Is he a very wise dog? He looks like he knows a LOT of stuff that he's not going to tell you about. Love it!

Moni,i'm in S.Ca so my plants(hoyas) live outside all year long.
