This is a picture of my back yard a few years ago. It still looks pretty much like this in the summer - unfortunately the lake had to be drained by about 12 feet so the water doesn't come up as far as it did then.

Hi, checking in from Victoria! We've had good weather, only a few drops of rain. This is the Empress Hotel in the evening sun.

Nice pic, Casey, we'll be down there next week. We just love visiting Victoria and environs. We're about 4-5 hours north of there.

And jodi.....just love those big birds ~ are they flamingos? Such great colour.
