I don't know, if you remember my picture of a forsythia from last weekend, when it was in snow, but here it is now.

Sorry, more that one pic today. I'm feeling a little sad and nostalgic. A year ago today I spent the day at Dream a Dream Kennels in Willow, Alaska. During my visit I went on an eight mile sled dog ride. AMAZING experience! I wish I were there right now. This is me bundled up in cold weather gear that belongs to 14 time Iditarod racer, Vern Halter. What a wonderful man he is. This is where I started my ride. It was a breathtakingly beautiful day. Here is my dog team stopped for a rest. There's no way I could have taken this picture standing on thin runners, going 10 miles an hour. Jodi-

so cool, we get to post on two picture posts today. :) Two minutes a part is when you ladies posted. It's amazing how well we ate using only two burners to cook.

Love those ponies, love those burros! Here's more from Death Valley, site of the borax processing plant from the 1880's when it was mined there. The borax had to be boiled to be processed. (Like you need something boiling in Death Valley! LOL!) Here's one of the wagons the 20 mules pulled to haul the borax out of Death Valley. Borax is no longer mined there.
