nice photos today. That ski trail is really something!
Here's a picture I took at the zoo during the Christmas Zoo Lights festival. I wasn't in charge of the camera so I didn't take many pictures.

Tracks in the snow yesterday. Any idea which animal made them? Just a single line . . . Doesn't look like deer to me.

We have more Blue Birds this year than I've seen in a long time.

I've been watching our Cardinals, but I've only seen the Males out. I bet they are wondering were all the "Babes" are.

We have Cranes at our Pond. Of course my camera isn't charged.

Good afternoon everyone. I'm a lurker of many years at the KT and nary a day goes by that I don't check out the wonderful photography here. Y'all do amazing work.

Alisande...I believe your "visitor" leaving the tracks is a rabbit. They leave pretty strange tracks in the snow...especially if they're just meandering along at a slow pace. I've been tracking a few of my own local brown rabbits and can always substantiate my suspicions when I follow their tracks to under a large shrub or into the under brush of the nearby woods...where they safely hide away from predators.

Keep your eyes posted. You may see the visitor one day soon. They venture out in the day light hours looking for food and as long as they aren't threatened...they can be pretty brazen.
