I cannot believe that I'm still able to add one of my favorites. It is Masquerade. It is white or cream centered, and I fell in love with it when I saw the clumps in someone's border, almost stealing the show from the big dudes. Mine is only a baby, but I have hopes it will get to be a full clump. Another one which I like is a small, not a mini. It is like a green Afro hairdo, it is The Razor's Edge. I really like it. If you don't have one, it is quite vigorous and the one I got in about March is quite full and about a foot across, about a foot tall at the most.

Thanks so much for your help thisismelissa! You picked out some neat ones. Really like the 'Masquerade' as well as that 'Oreo Cream'. I will be sure to look up the sizes online to see... Yeah, I kind of suspected certain ones with bold variegation would take awhile to bulk up. I don't mind if it takes awhile (though hopefully not as long as Pineapple Upside Down Cake!! I love the minis. I owe my entire obsession to dhaven. And now it's on! I have a few and am trying to mix them in with larger hostas as well. Last year, I wanted soe of my minis to stand out from their friends, so I created a raised area for them. I'm looking forward to them filling in this season. Two of my favorites are Baby Bunting and Cherish. But I love them all and have quite a few still on my wish list. I got this BME and friend in one pot at a garden center last Summer. I divided the blue from the other one and planted them separately. I have the Little Hosta Book. It's really wonderful. So is Carolyn's Shade Garden website.

Steve, I have grouped a few into a pot. I usually don't water in winter, but I have found that smaller pots seem to get so dry in the garage. We are having higher than normal temperatures for a few days before going back to normal weather. So I took your advice and put some snow on the pots. I don't think there will be any snow left in a day or two. I also bury some very small pots into the ground for overwintering. Oursteelers, why are your pots so wet in winter? Where do you store them?
