Although I didn't join in the KT card exchange, I'll post about how I keep track of who I sent to and received from. In my persona; address book, in the very last line for each name/address/phone# section, when I make out the Christmas card envelope, I put just the last two numbers of the year. When I receive a card from that person, I circle the year. Then, when I go to make out next years cards, and i notice one or two years have gone by and I haven't heard from that person, I know not to send anymore as they have either moved or are not interested.

Great idea. I would also suggest cutting off the return addresses and tape them on a sheet of paper to use next year.

Since I have a very large list, I run off my list using the labels feature in WordPerfect. I put the year at the top of the list and on the left side write an S for sent and then in Red write on R when I receive a card. I'm like you dotmom, if I don't hear from the person after two years, the third year I'll write a short note politely inquiring why I haven't heard from them. If I don't receive a reply I cross them off the list.
