OOPS!!! Sorry I didn't know that about Jan. 1 being "everybody's" birthday, if a specific date isn't given. Oh well, Happy Birthday, whenever it is. :>) Mwoods, your statement about each year bringing "joy, laughter, and some tears" is so true. None of us ever knows what's ahead for us. But, as my DH says, "It's been a trip, but I wouldn't change any of it!"

Michelle, I received my seeds today !! What a wonderful treat it is to find such an awesome collection of seeds waiting for me in the mailbox after a long day at work ... I just sat down and went thru them all, one by one (drooling) and now I really can't wait for spring, there are so many great seeds here ! Thank you so much ! ~Iris

Ours was utterly quiet, although not unpleasant :). Both kids were off doing their own NYE celebration so the house was nice and calm. We ate dinner, chatted, then he went to sleep early and I read for awhile. Boring? Maybe but also a moment to cherish being secure in our lives and with so much for which to be grateful. Wendy, it is soooo nice to see you here! I think of you, Gordy and the kids often, and keep you in my prayers. I'm really sorry about your son, and will pray that he will soon be home. I would love to see a picture of your family. Give my regards to Babaloo. I miss seeing her post, and hope you can convince her to join us at the Quilting Forum here at GardenWeb.
