I think its important as a single person to just get "out and about". I too enjoy my freedom yet would love a healthy, close relationship. My goal this year, for the first time in my 51 years of life, is to seek people out, to feed my need for belonging. I truly enjoy my own company, but we all need to get out and socialize... I agree that our New Year's resolutions should be processes...baby steps!

Wendy, it is soooo nice to see you here! I think of you, Gordy and the kids often, and keep you in my prayers. I'm really sorry about your son, and will pray that he will soon be home. I would love to see a picture of your family. Give my regards to Babaloo. I miss seeing her post, and hope you can convince her to join us at the Quilting Forum here at GardenWeb. There are a lot of nice ladies over there who would love to share ideas and pictures with the Queen of Quilting. Hugs!!
